The client is looking for a very conceptual thought process and final outcome, not just another “logo.” You have to carefully analyze the target market and assess their needs. You have to associate yourselves with the target market and delve into how they want to be perceived when wearing clothing from Basics, Inc. The identity has to appeal to each consumer on a very personal level (as each is unique), yet encompass all the consumers at the same time. You need to convince them into not necessarily buying the clothing, but the perceived image that accompanies it.
